Our People

The foundation of Velanidi’s microelectronic medicine technology is its people: a team of world-class researchers with deep and varied post-graduate and professional experiences in semiconductor lithography, circuit design, medicine, and organic chemistry. Straddling the seemingly disparate fields of semiconductors and medicine, our team brings the extraordinary technical insight, problem-solving skills, and drive to launch this revolution in next-generation disease treatment.

The three co-founders of Velanidi have more than 60 combined years of education and professional experience at the world’s leading edge of microelectronics manufacturing technology development, clinical-translational medicine, pharmaceutical development, nanoparticle-therapeutic development with translation to the clinic, intellectual property protection, and U.S. national security. With academic and professional experience from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), USC Keck School of Medicine, Intel Corporation, and the Central Intelligence Agency, the co-founders possess the complete multi-disciplinary knowledge base needed to address the engineering challenges associated with Velanidi’s microelectronic medicine technology research, development, and high-volume manufacturing.
